We found a special offer for this hotel and paid 30 euros / night for two people with breakfast included. We believe that this was an amazing deal for such a good hotel. The rooms were big, clean, with terrace with a fantastic view at the sea. The hotel had a swimming pool, free parking and was also a short walk from the village center, beach, shops etc.

Amazing views and a really nice pool also there’s a restaurant owned by them right across the road that has everything you need. Has spacious rooms and bathrooms and is also 15 minutes away from one of the most beautiful and famous lakes in Europe its absolutely stunning would highly recommend also really good price

We liked the apartment with direct access to the pool. The water was warm and very very clean. We also liked the apartment itself, the beds are confortable, the bathroom is spacious. We liked the options we had for breakfast (not included, 15 eur per person - order whatever and how much you want front their menu). We always found a parking spot even though the hotel was full. The hotel is in a quiet area, with a small supermarket and tavernas near by. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes on foot away from the beach. However since we rented a car we explored a lot so we didn't care that the hotel is not closer to the beach.

Our rooms were clean and well equipped and only a few metres from the beach. Each had an outside seating area. The shady garden is quiet and relaxing - perfect for an afternoon nap or an leisurely meal under the trees. The rooms were cleaned regularly and Maria was always nearby to answer any questions. We had a really enjoyable stay and lovely family walks on the beach. There are several tavernas and bars within a few minutes’ walk, and the main Kalives supermarket is across the road.

We were only at Elianthos Villas for one night but it was wonderful. We can imagine it would be very enjoyable for a longer visit. The villa was very clean, beds were super comfortable and we enjoyed the pool (we were here during the heatwave of July '23 so we were very grateful for the pool and air con!). The house is very quiet, set back from the street, and is obviously very well cared for. The property is lovely, it felt luxurious! We ate at a lovely inexpensive taverna called Τα Πλατάνια, just a few minutes walk down the road from the villa. It has a small but tasty menu and everything we ordered was delicious.

First visit to Almirida was many years ago with young children and then years later as adults alone.It was still enjoyable and the proximity of everything nearby of this small but nicely presented resort was a winner for us. Sloping shallow sandy bay beach is brilliant. Plenty of good places to rent and lots of eateries of all kinds and all budgets. Bus to Chania is fairly regular ( in season) and doesnt take long. Drop off in Kalyves, the next town, is a good change of scenery as is Plaka up the hill. Taxi service seems 24 hrs and went over and above when we had a medical centre/hospital visit during stay. I think we will be coming here for a few years more in between other trips.

It was early October so Almirida was a little quieter which was perfect for us. Has nice holiday feel with plenty of places to relax and eat. Restaurants were very good and numerous. Beach was good and Kalyves was a 5 minute drive so many beach options. Can imagine in high season it could be busy but for us the timing in October was perfect.

Sandy beaches and warm and shallow sea. Great snorkelling round rocks near Tsunami restaurant. Easy bus into Chania for day trip - tickets and timetable available from nearby shop. Lots of good restaurants. Scuba diving - recommend Elephant Cave.

Almirida is a good seaside resort with safe beaches, numerous bars and restaurants, free parking and supermarkets. Very comfortable to wander around at all times of day and night. The bakery is not to be missed!!!!

Almirida has not changed much in the last 20 years.

Almirida has not changed much in the last 20 years. Some great Tavernas right on the beach and the beach itself is sheltered and safe for swimming. Although on some occasions it can get a bit windy. Bus service to Chania. 35 minutes from Chania airport in a car. Visit while you can.

Almyrida is a really small and quiet village.

Almyrida is a really small and quiet village. No crowds of tourists and no loud bars. Just a beautiful sea, a peaceful main street, and very tasty taverns and restaurants (Psaros was the best). The location is perfect! With a car, every day we went to explore nearby places: mountain villages, beach hopping, Chania, and Rethymno.

This is my eighth time in Almyrida. Each time I stay in a different guesthouse/hotel/apartment. I chose Pasithea because of its location and room configuration. This time I was with my husband and a couple of friends. Pasithea was a perfect choice. Everything you need is there: a large apartment, two balconies, a renovated bathroom, comfortable beds. A welcome wine and, above all, the WONDERFUL MANAGEMENT, Katerina! I plan to return and recommend this place to everyone! Thank you.

The breakfast was absolutely perfect, we really loved it! Our 5 and 11 years old kids ate more than ever in breakfasts, which tells a lot. Also the owner was so friendly and welcoming for us and our balcony was the biggest I have ever had! Everything was just perfect! The hotel was in the middle of Almyrida, beaches, supermarkets and restaurants were close. The best hotel ever!

Almyrida is a small village, enough restaurants, supermarkets, not noisy in the evenings, small beach. The accommodation has an amazing host - Kiriaki, the place was very clean, all facilities you need (iron, small kitchen, hair dryer, soap, towels), parking on the street or the weekly paid parking place right behind, taxi in front.

For our last day of tour in Chania, we decided to stay at Manos Apartments in Almyrida. Very clean apartment, incredible view for both balconies, especially the front with the sea view, great and kindly owner, quiet place. We couldn’t ask more for our last day in Chania. We definitely come back for longer stay.
