We found a special offer for this hotel and paid 30 euros / night for two people with breakfast included. We believe that this was an amazing deal for such a good hotel. The rooms were big, clean, with terrace with a fantastic view at the sea. The hotel had a swimming pool, free parking and was also a short walk from the village center, beach, shops etc.

Our stay at Annassa was magical! The host, Katerina, is so nice and helpful and her hospitality was amazing! The place is so nicely decorated and has everything you need! The rooms are beautiful, each one is dedicated to an element and has a special crystal inside that makes the whole experience feel so calming and really thought through. The beds are super comfortable which is a big plus! We loved the outside sitting area for having breakfast and lunch and also enjoyed the pool and hammock a lot! The area is also very cute and calm with a nice beach and good restaurants and shops only 2-3 minutes by feet. But the place was so nice and had everything we needed so we didn’t even want to go anywhere else, haha! Would definitely recommend for couples, families, or even for events like yoga retreats! Thank you for everything and we will be back soon for sure!

Two level apartment w separate kitchen and a bathroom and balcony for each bedroom - very good if you travel w teenagers! Beautiful sea and mountain view from top balcony. Very authentic homelike feel and very spacious. Host is family run restaurant and they live on the premises too, and were very kind, easy to communicate with and got us beach towels too :-) Do eat come early to eat at Thalamis, as it is the best and most? popular of the restaurants! Best thing is the location though, right in center opposite of the beach - and remember to try both ends of the beaches as Almyrida has surprisingly different beaches within the town! Don’t miss out on the Dream snorkelling trip - see the stall on the east side of center - that really made a difference to our kids joy with snorkelling!!!

George was an excellent host. He met us at the villa in the beginning of our stay and answered all of our questions. He is totally uncomplicated and there, when you need him. Cleaning of the villa (incl. change of towels and bedsheets) is included. Tatjana, the cleaning lady, is a real treasure. She brought us cake on her birthday. The inside of the villa and the kitchen equipment are average. View of the upper terrace facing the olive tree gardens and the sea is breathtaking. The outside areas of the villa and the pool are well maintained and a real plus. The villa is situated in a calm neighborhood. Bakery and supermarket as well as restaurants are close (2 mins by car/10 mins walk downhill). Lovely villages are not far away and easily reachable by car.

We stayed in the 2-room apartment with balcony for 12 days. The apartment was very close to the beach and market, was always clean and had everything we needed for our holiday. And we can’t praise George enough. He was an fantastic host. He took care of the apartment every day, and cleaned the pool every morning to make it ready for the guests. He was easy to get in touch with, very polite and service minded, and made our stay beyond expected. We highly recommend George and his property!

    Almirida has not changed much in the last 20 years. Some great Tavernas right on the beach and the beach itself is sheltered and safe for swimming. Although on some occasions it can get a bit windy. Bus service to Chania. 35 minutes from Chania airport in a car. Visit while you can.

    Almyrida is a really small and quiet village.

    Almyrida is a really small and quiet village. No crowds of tourists and no loud bars. Just a beautiful sea, a peaceful main street, and very tasty taverns and restaurants (Psaros was the best). The location is perfect! With a car, every day we went to explore nearby places: mountain villages, beach hopping, Chania, and Rethymno.

    The location of the villa was perfect, uphill from the town, which made it a peaceful, relaxing holiday spot. There are plenty of tavernas a short walk downhill - perfect for an evening meal followed by viewing the stars from the balcony on our return. There is also a useful taxi rank in the middle of town - we used taxis for occasional excursions.

    Small beach town with everything near by.

    Small beach town with everything near by. All the restaurants we tried were good. You need to book for some of them. There are walks from the village which are quite hilly. it takes 20 mins to walk up to Plaka. Almirida itself is very flat. Good bus service to Chania. Beautiful views. Not one English or Irish bar which was wonderful!!! Also no one out on the street trying to drag you into their restaurant which was also really good!

    Amazing location overlooking Almyrida beach and easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. The villa is beautiful and well equipped. Katerina and the team were on hand throughout and always helpful.

    The apartment had two balcony’s , amazing.

    The apartment had two balcony’s , amazing. It was newly renovated. Very well equipped for self catering, had iron coffee machine, hair dryer all the things to make your stay lovely. I have nothing negative to say . Nico and Elena as hosts were amazing, I’m going back next year for sure.

    We have just enjoyed a lovely week at Villa Sunray. Plenty of room for our Family of 4. Beautiful large Pool, stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the ocean. 2 balconies and 3 spacious terraces. Comfortable beds and good air con. Great welcome pack with essentials on arrival. This villa is rural so lovely and peaceful but within an Easy Drive or taxi ride into Almyrida (max 5mins) for Great restaurants and beautiful beaches. Would highly recommend this villa.

    Fabulous facilities for us (four adults, including two children) - absolutely everything was covered. We really appreciated the extensive welcome pack and the welcome in person. The location was great: only a short walk to Almyrida’s restaurants, beach, supermarkets, etc., but having its own large and very private garden areas. The pool and outdoor facilities were excellent and quietly and efficiently maintained during our stay.

    Gorgeous views, very nice pool, proper sunbeds. We were a family of 12 people and there was enough space for everyone. Wonderful sunset and possible to dine outside. We hade two evenings catering, the most amazing Greek food! Small villages near by with local tavernas. Much better than in Almyrida. A car is necessary. Not really anything is on walking distance. Unpaved road to the villa.
