The hotel is in a great spot, just a block away from the main square and restaurants. Room and bed was super comfortable. The village, beach, people, scenery and the whole island was just perfect. We were amazed at all of Amorgos. The receptionist was amazing, we were late arriving and she should have been off duty. She didn't show any sign of frustration. Professional, friendly and very helpful with tips on activities where to eat etc. Everyday we looked forward to chatting with her! Surprising selection of places to eat for the size of the village. Some great meals! This was real Greece, a perfect stay.

Everything was just perfect for us. Starting with the communication with host, location, comfort and cleanliness. The pictures uploaded by the property do not reflect the charm of the place enough and that is a good thing. Fridge was full of complimentary goodies and we were also offered drinks as our room was not ready 2 hours after official check-in time.

This is in my opinion the best location for a stay in Amorgos. The village has everything you need including a lovely sandy beach, great selection of bars and restaurants and a good mix of accommodation. Great walking can be had in the hills behind, exploring villages and amazing views. You can get a ferry direct to the port, but it depends which company you go with. Many only drop in Katapola in which case you will need to get a bus/taxi or hire a car. The island is in fact very long, so a car is a good idea in any case

Great beaches and a hillwalkers paradise. Around Aegiali there is a coastal trail to several beaches, there are trails to two nearby mountain villages which are connected by another trail between them, one has a trail to a high mountain church which could be difficult for vertigo sufferers. There is another longer trail running down the spine of the island which I intend to go back and do. Beach photo taken from taverna at Lebressos, Aegiali port in distance. Other two are Stavros church high on Krikellos and section of path to get there.

We really enjoyed our time in Aegiali.

We really enjoyed our time in Aegiali. We had a great place to stay in with amazing views of the water and sunsets. The beach is very close as are the hiking trails. So many great restaurants in Aegiali. We also really appreciated that it was peaceful and everyone was friendly. Many come here to hike the trails and we took advantage of this exploring the surrounding villages.

Great location to stay at.

Great location to stay at. Beach is big and sandy, great for families. Plenty of options for bars, cafes and restaurants. Great villages close by, our favorite was Lagkada. The main town is about half an hour away with lots of turns and twists.

Beautiful little town on a stunning island. Great beach and really good cafes and restaurants. I went for the hiking, there were 2 or 3 really good well marked trails but one I tried was really hard to follow.

A great place to stay.

A great place to stay. A great beach on the doorstep and several others a reasonable walk away. Loads of eating and drinking places. Really good for walkers. Some challenging hikes, but also more gentle walks. Usually these are on wonderful cobbled 'donkey' trails.

We loved the house – it’s equipped with everything you need to feel super comfortable. The view is amazing, and best of all are the hosts. Antonis and his family are always ready to help, from giving great recommendations on what to do on the island to sorting out any issue that might come up during your stay. 100% recommended! If we’re lucky enough to come back to Amorgos, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay in the same place again.

A great stay in a very good spot in Aegiali village/bay, Giannis was there to greet us and to provide us with useful information about eating out and beaches, all with a lovely smile. The room was clean and very adequate and the bed very, very comfortable. We had a lovely view to the sea (though lower floors do not enjoy this view). All in all, we loved this place and would definitely come back.

Hotel was in the most gorgeous location, the pool overlooked the sea it was absolutely perfect! The rooms were cleaned daily to a great standard. The Hosts couldn't have been any more helpful. You do not need a beach towel as you are provided with towels around the pool. Although the pool is small there was never an issue getting beds in peak of Summer
