Absolutely loved our stay at Gori Inn! 🍷 The highlight was the beautiful wine basement with a free wine degustation — such a nice touch. We stayed in the two-bedroom apartment with the maroon couch. The apartment is spacious, extremely clean and the furniture comfortable and in excellent condition. The beds have Mien hotel mattresses and were also in excellent condition. The apartment is on the 9th floor of an 11-story building, one of the highest in Gori. You can see the fortress over the top of the building across the courtyard and have a clear view of St George's Church from the large balcony. The pictures make the apartment look dark, this is because the glass is tinted to keep the heat out (the balcony receives afternoon sun). I need sunlight so we had the door open but it was not bad when closed. Note: you need a key fob to enter the building grounds and to use the elevator. As we stayed for five nights, we were given two sets of keys.

Most amazing room we stayed in in the whole of Georgia. It has a kitchenette and washing machine in the room. Very comfy bed and great shower. Very well priced and very friendly host. Would highly recommend. Also has a fantastic restaurant across the river just 300m away!
