There is nothing to see in Whitburn. It is rundown. Lots of fish and chip shops! There are no decent restaurants close by. The Best Western Hillcroft is supposed to have a good restaurant I found the food awful there. The bar is nice and the staff are friendly. We had lovely stay for 5 nights. Our room was comfortable and had plenty of the basics needs in towels ect. Reception staff check us in quickly and efficiently and stopped us few times chatting about our day was nice touch.
