A well-decorated apartment with good facilities in a pleasant location. Comfortable bed, well-equipped and spacious kitchen and a decent shower. Really enjoyed our stop-over here and would like to come again. Some pleasant walks from the property and a supermarket nearby, plus a pub, coffee shop and sandwich shop (impressive for a small village!).

We wanted somewhere for an easy one night stay that we didn't need to take everything, including the kitchen sink with us. This was great for the two of us and our little dog. Towels and bedding provided. The sofa turns into the bed and I have to say because it solid it was one of the comfiest we've slept on. Had a beautiful outlook and the goats were soooo cute as was the little pony. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a lovely few days in this cottage. Owners were lovely. Came to the rescue with an extra drying rack as we had so many loads of washing after 2 weeks on a canal boat (and cheerfully helped us out when we couldn't get the heating working in the evening. The breakfast supplies were a lovely touch. The conservatory with the views were my favourite place. Happily recommended to family and friends. Would love to stay again for an extended visit.

Such a quirky little place in the centre of a village with stunning views. This exceeded my expectations and I think it's great value for money. Its been done to a great standard and the added touch of tea/coffee/cereal was nice. Also super peaceful, we slept so well.

Spent a birthday weekend there with friends and couldn’t have asked for anything more. The place was immaculate and much larger than we were expecting. The owners are lovely and incredibly helpful and clearly care about their guests enjoying their stay. 10/10 would return and stay if/ when back in the Lake District!

What guests said about Welton:

Comfortable and cosy.

Comfortable and cosy. Beautifully decorated and well equipped. Very good value for the price we paid. Very pet friendly and had pet blankets and bowls for use. Even little extras for an additional cost such as mini bar should you want to use it. The kitchen very well equipped. Toiletries and towels provided as well as the washing up liquid and other essentials. Washing machine too. Every detail thought of. Even logs and kindling can be purchased from the host who are only next door. Like a home from home. Property easy to locate and easily accessible. Hosts were welcoming. Would definitely recommend
