Loved this place! Quick 10/15 minute drive to Stonehenge. The place was very comfortable and inviting. The first floor is a pub/restaurant, second floor has the rooms. Our room had a full kitchen with a small fold-out sofa bed. The bedroom had two beds, very comfortable and quiet. We had no issues at night with noise. My husband and I went downstairs for dinner. Food and drinks were great, we were even able to order some and take some upstairs for the kids & grandma. Kids stayed back with grandma and watched Netflix(included). The bathroom had great shower pressure. We had a great time speaking with a few of the employees while at dinner. Lots of locals, just loved the atmosphere. Honestly amazing staff. Breakfast was delicious! They had a small buffet selection of yogurt, cereal, juice, breads and some fruit and hot breakfast was included as well. We will be staying here again the next time we go to visit.

The guest accommodation is secure and private, is fully equipped, and even has its own gym & sauna. Toby the host war really friendly and helpful and made sure we had a nice stay. The dogs are friendly as well! We followed all of Toby's recommendations for things to do in the area and were not disappointed (breakfast at Honeystreet Mill Cafy, visit to Avebury and Old Sarum). Overall we had a great stay:)

Everything..... the staff were amazing, friendly and so helpful. The rooms extremely comfortable and had all you needed and more. The evening meal and breakfast were delicious, food was amazing, service was excellent. I booked it as a late on the day stay but will most definatley return and have already recommended to friends and family.

The George Hotel is so cute! We came during Christmas and it was nicely decorated with lights, garland, and Christmas trees. Very cosy, beautiful rooms, and good food.

    Great off the beaten path to go away from the overfill of...

    Great off the beaten path to go away from the overfill of local tourist spots, yet you can relax here away from other tourists in the evening. Locals who work and venture into the pub are more than friendly to talk with you to give you the local good info of where or how to explore the region. I give this village a two thumbs up and will return again.
