The hosts gave us the code to a key safe, so we were able to let ourselves in immediately upon our arrival. The first thing we noticed was the shear amount of space. The bungalow is large and the room sizes were very generous. The bungalow smelt fresh, clean, and inviting. The decor is very tired in places, but for a one night stop-over, this didn’t bother us in the slightest. We used the accommodation after a concert at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham. It was ideal, as it was only a 15 minute drive, and far enough away from the city to be quiet and restful. The road outside the bungalow is very quiet with not many cars, so we had a very peaceful sleep. The beds are super comfy, with lovely clean, cosy bed linen. Towels are supplied, but a tea towel would have been nice. (Unlike some guests, we like to do the washing up before we leave.) We didn’t really use the kitchen, other than to make tea (supplied) and do the washing up. Bottles of water were left in the fridge for us, which was a nice gesture. The lounge sofa is large and comfortable. Overall, we were very happy and the accommodation suited our needs.
