We were down visiting family and friends so didn't do much sightseeing, but it is a typical lovely Hampshire village. Easy to walk around and there are a couple of good pubs that also serve food in the area.

A very pretty historic market village.

A very pretty historic market village. Could do with a restaurant or two, but there are plenty a short drive away. The Titchfield Mill Inn is a 10 minute walk away. Just a short distance and convenient drive to local towns (Southampton/Fareham and their respective suburbs. Only a short distance off of the M27 motorway for Whiteley business park and Segensworth industrial estate.

The location of the Bugle is ideal for us.

The location of the Bugle is ideal for us. Its a really old building with lots of character, blends well into the village, which is an interesting place. Parking can be difficult when first arriving into Titchfield, but it is available. Interesting few shops, the village is well worth a visit. Many of the buildings are very old, and would be of interest to anyone who has an interest into old dwelling construction within rural England.

A lovely village - a great welcome both at the Bugle and Monks Rest, and the Wheatsheaf that I went to on the Sunday evening. I had a good exploration on foot, as part of a wedding weekend (not mine!), with ceremonies and celebrations at Great Barn ..... excellent. I also had tea and a scone at Stewarts Garden Centre - well recommended - and spent an hour Monday morning in and around the Abbey.

Lovely little village.

Lovely little village. I imagine many of the buildings must be listed and must take considerable effort to keep looking their best. BIg church in the heart of the village with many graves of interest. Apparently there is a theatre nearby but I didn't get around to visiting this. I found two other pubs in the village, all of which were reasonably busy which was nice to see.

Property is fine with all facilities available and easily accessible. It is as described and everything is in excellent condition. Please be mindful of additional fees which are not refundable - a £200 cleaning fee for a 2 night stay is rather exorbitant!
