Literally, everything! Everything in this accommodation is of high quality, from the crockery, to the bed, sofa, the furniture was beautiful to look at. Very well decorated giving a very homely feel.

The Compasses Inn is a gem that we coincidentally found after visiting Stonehenge. Off the beaten track but very worthwhile to visit and stay. The originally 14th century inn has a dark brown pub that serves locally sourced food. The rooms are pleasantly modern, fitting the ancient building and with natural materials. Absolutely nice! Staff is very friendly, breakfast tasty, according to your preference (vegetarian in our case). Considering all of this, the price was more than reasonable. Very recommendable!

Dreamy is the one word that comes to mind. The whole property is quaint and just beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Oak. From the rooms to the location. We loved everything. The breakfast was delicious and made with quality ingredients. The rooms were perfect for our needs. Clean and beautifully decorated. Coming from a different country we did have some trouble with internet service but I think It has to do with our roaming service. We can't wait to return.

The room was immaculate. It is small so would be cosy for a couple but certainly perfect as a solo traveller. I couldn’t fault Jess and Steve who offered a really warm welcome and were happy to help with any queries throughout my stay. The local pub, The Royal Oak, is only a 5 minute walk away and a great place for drinks or food as you need.

Literally everything. We loved this place! It was the first stop on our 7 week travels around Europe and this was the best place we stayed out of everywhere! The bed was THE most comfortable bed we have ever stayed in including fancy hotels! The views were lovely and the entire house was just such a nice atmosphere. The only thing I would say is screen shot the lock box code before you arrive as there’s no internet to access booking.com until you get in and on the wifi. We did have to drive down the road to the pub but this was our mistake! We were even greeted with little scrabble letters spelling out “g’day” to us which was a lovely touch! It made us smile after a long and tiring drive and they are the sort of things we really appreciated about this place. We would 100% stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone!

    It was very clean and tidy and a beautiful cottage in a...

    It was very clean and tidy and a beautiful cottage in a stunning area. The host Bill was very informative and nothing was too much bother. We had a variety of items for breakfast for us to have which was lovely and everything in the cottage you could ever need. The area of Teffon Magna was beautiful to take walks around and do some running too like I did. It was a short journey to Salisbury and an hours drive to Bath. The local pub was a 30 minute walk which was very friendly and nice walk to do.

    Lovely hotel in beautiful gardens and in a beautiful old village. Excellent food and service. The girls who waited on table were amazing, nothin to much trouble. Will certainly be going back. ASAP. Try it, you really enjoy your stay.

    Teffont Magna is a very beautiful village to enjoy walking around, so peaceful and picturesque. Great location for exploring Salisbury, Shaftesbury, Stonehenge, Wimborne and so much more. Driving through villages and all the time seeing breath taking scenery, Wiltshire is truly beautiful.
