Absolutely clean, well kept, superb rooms and surroundings. Very friendly, helpful staff and a absolutely tasty breakfast. There is so much to do from here. And - If I would live here, I would go and play Golf here, the Golf course is extraordinary, well kept and plain beautiful!!!

Beautiful setting and building Friendly welcoming staff I received a free upgrade which meant I got to stay in the main house. I saw a cosy lounge area for afternoon tea. Beautiful grand staircase. Festive decorations made it really warm and cosy. Attended a party in the stable area. Perfect for a sit down meal for around 60 people. Food was fantastic and hot. Service was excellent Late checkout is 11am which leaves time to enjoy the breakfast from a menu. Not by buffet style. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable beds, slept really well, good evening meal and very good breakfast. Even the coffee was great.!! Would highly recommend for an overnight en route to the shuttle. All the staff, from receptionist at check-in, waiting staff in restaurant (dinner & breakfast) to checkout staff were extremely friendly

The room was extremely spacious and there was even a fan provided in case it was hot in the room. Towels and toiletries were provided and there was a hairdryer. For a quick stop to break a journey to the ferry it was absolutely perfect. Restaurant and shops right on hand.

    The location of the cottage is very secluded down a very...

    The location of the cottage is very secluded down a very narrow road and to the farmhouse. Directions were left by the host who gave information about the final 80 yard track to the cottage and possible difficulty getting up the short hill if very wet weather with alternative parking should we chose. It was wet for a few days so this was good advice. 1/2 mile away are 2 nice pubs, the kings head serves excellent food at reasonable prices and is about 3/4 mile from the cottage but a nice walk. The smaller roads in the area are not great with lots of potholes so care needs taking when driving but not all locals conform to driving safely in their large 4x4’s but that’s life everywhere. The area is close to many nice areas and areas of interest
