Fantastic stay. Very clean, comfortable and well laid out. Excellent hosts who were extremely friendly and helpful. Prior to our stay Karina was in touch to provide some local advice and even offered to take us to where we needed to go and helped with an early check-in. When we arrived John drove us into town rather than having to wait for a taxi. Lovely people. Would absolutely recommend to anyone staying in the town / area.

Helen is the best host we have ever come across. Her hospitality and authenticity touched our hearts forever. She extended herself by giving us a lift to town to the bus stop so we arrived home safe and sound. She also invited us for a free breakfast in the morning to her B&B when she heard we spent all our money. On top of that she gave us a little card and ten pounds in cash as a little wedding present even though we were complete strangers. My wife was moved to tears by this sweet gesture. We are definitely going back. It's been the most extravagant experience we had on our wedding night thanks to her genuine caring and loving personality. She's a wee Irish angel, words alone can't do this review justice. Hope to meet her again soon.

Excellent location and the size of the apartment was brillant. Declan and his wife are perfect hosts . The apartment was so spacious and had everything we needed. Bonus that there is a Chinese, pizza shop and a chippy all within 5mins at the petrol.garage!

Absolutely fantastic stay at this charming one-bedroom house in Derry! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The home itself is beautifully finished with a modern touch throughout—everything felt fresh, stylish, and virtually brand new. All the essentials were there and more: a spotless fridge, a washing machine, a great stove for cooking, fast WiFi, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. What really made the stay special, though, were the thoughtful touches from our lovely host, Debbie. She went above and beyond—leaving Easter treats like a chocolate egg and Kit Kats in the fridge, which was such a sweet and unexpected surprise. It made us feel right at home. Debbie was incredibly helpful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests’ experience. All in all, this little gem in Derry was perfect. I’d come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and heartwarming place to stay.

Strabane is well placed for visiting Donegal's Wild Atlantic...

Strabane is well placed for visiting Donegal's Wild Atlantic Way, Giant's Causeway and places like Derry / Londonderry and Enniskillen. Lots of beautiful scenery, good food (Oysters, The Fir Trees Hotel and The Bank restaurants) and very friendly locals.

Strabane is a market town and is an ideal central hub for accessing the wonderful destinations North West Ireland has to offer. From rugged coast of Donegal to the Sperrin mountains, Fermanagh lakes and the Antrim coast (Giant;s Causeway) All are an hours drive away and L'Derry is less than 30 mins away. The town itself offers very little to the tourist. It neglects heritage sites such as Mary Alexanders's house and has no park or real focal centre. It has an OK hotel, picturesque golf course, one half decent restaurant (Oysters) a decent bar (Farmers Home) a small theatre but precious little else. So stay here but use it as a base not your destination.

very under rated as some tv programs state, they say you should try before you buy this is so true. perfect place to start a journey if your heading for Donegal or any where north or south the north is the best has a great deal to offer you just have to look fort it sometime it surprise you
