Our ferry had been cancelled and we had to find accommodation near to the ferry port for an early morning sailing the next day. The owner couldn't have been more helpful with information and was very welcoming.

We loved our stay! The old house is beautifully redone and attention to detail on point! The rooms are beautiful and staff were very friendly and Accomodating We felt like we were in 17th century Scotland We had a whiskey by the fireplace in the evening and it was comfy and cosy and just magical Anyone wanting an authentic stay should definitely book here.

Nice, quiet and peaceful location.

Nice, quiet and peaceful location. Need to drive quite long distances to get to see the sights but worth it. Cottage very clean and modern albeit a bit cramped for 4 persons. Beds were very comfortable and cottage very well equipped

All around there is fantastic views of mountains even in the...

All around there is fantastic views of mountains even in the rain it's outstanding and beautiful . The locals are so friendly and helpful . There is a little shop in walking distance and a little post office . There are great walks with amazing waterfalls to see and mountains to walk up if you're feeling fit . You do need a car to get round but beware of pot holes narrow roads they have pull in places . My favourite place was Poortree we're I did my main shopping at the Coop ( it's cheaper ) after taking in the site's , wherever you go on the Isle of Skye you will not be disappointed ❤.
