Small village with some beautiful stone buildings.

Small village with some beautiful stone buildings. Fox & Hounds pub had good beer and pretty good food and is dog friendly. Access around the area by car is along some lovely lanes. There are a few footpaths nearby too.

Village is very friendly, lots of walks available to get into the Dales. To get to the main attractions, you will need a car, but there are plenty to chose from. We spent everyday, at a different site where you can get away from the crowds and enjoy the terrific scenery. Need to pick carefully, where to visit, as many places are extremely busy at the weekends.

Lovely little village with stone houses and the one great pub. Good walks over to Arncliffe and down to Kettlewell. Bus service into Skipton and Grassington passes through Starbotton and the pub had the timetable displayed.

The room was lovely. Good size and had everything we needed.

The room was lovely. Good size and had everything we needed. Tea, coffee and biscuits. Great bathroom. Beds were quite bouncy but comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was nice but would have liked more choice of cereals, ie muesli, granola. Also chopped fruit and yoghurt would have been nice. Background music would have also created a nice atmosphere. The evening meals in the pub were absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend the food and service.

It's in a beautiful area with easy access to other localities, small and larger which are part of this Dales area. The local pub provides a really good menu (needs to be booked). It's a really good base for walking, both easy and the more dedicated or strenuous type, depending on one's choice.

Starbotton is a tiny village full of beautiful large cottages. It is very clean and lovely to wander around after spending time at the local pub. The food at the pub is excellent and the staff very friendly, as are the locals. Dogs are welcome too.
