This was a perfect stay for our walking holiday. A warm welcome, everything you could need for breakfast set out thoughtfully so you can help yourselves at a time that suits you. Relaxing in the lounge in the evening with a game of scrabble - absolutely marvellous. We loved it, thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Sneaton Castle. The room was spacious and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and well appointed. Everything was well maintained. The attention to detail was very good. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. We dined at the restaurant one evening and the food was first rate. Great chefs here. They even created a special birthday cake which was the best we have had period. I could not fault Sneaton Castle in any way.

I arrived late but the staff went out of their way to accommodate me. Room was extremely comfortable, with a sea view over the Bay. Pre-arranged car parking was available. They have a nice breakfast included, and a pub atmosphere bar, Everything in one package, in a beautifully refurbished old building. True Yorkshire hospitality.

We didn't really see that much of the village as we had come...

We didn't really see that much of the village as we had come across for the Whitby Steam Traction Rally, but we most definitely plan to come back next year for a longer stay when we will be able to explore the surrounding area more
