The house was beautifully furnished and with all facilities needed to make our stay perfect. From beautiful tasteful decorations to well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. We could not find fault and will definitely return.

Ellie and Adam were perfect hosts! They were knowledgeable about sites for us to see (visiting from Australia) and interested in our travels. The accommodation was perfect- clean and comfortable. Great to have cooking appliances and a washing machine- and the use of Ellie's clothesline! Very private and quiet- so pleased we booked here. Ellie's and Adam's two children were an absolute delight!! Highly recommend.

Deceiving from outside as pretty big once you walk in! Fresh and modern, we felt right at home. Was a short drive to all the key places although a lovely deli lay only two doors down and a pub a short walk away; all were dog friendly and within the village. Plenty of storage in the kitchen and nice touch with the bath tub in Master bedroom actually being in the bedroom and not within the ensuite.

    We love both the dales and the coastal area.

    We love both the dales and the coastal area. There is so much to see. There are so many excellent restaurants and bars in the area. We particularly like Walkers Fish Restaurant in East Ayton and we also had an excellent meal at The Cayley Arms. Traffic through Snainton was very busy at times and parked cars on both sides of the road could make it difficult. Not so young any more but the coast is packed with activities especially in Scarborough.

    Snainton is a tiny village with two pubs and no grocery shop...

    Snainton is a tiny village with two pubs and no grocery shop. the fish shop only opens weekends so make sure you take plenty of food with you. there is a Spar two villages over and a Morrisons about 5 miles away. The Lodge is on the main road so traffic noise can be heard in the front bedrooms. But is a nice quaint village and easy access to surrounding areas.
