Loved our 3 night stay in Shrewsbury, it wasnt long enough We were in a central location hotel (Prince Rupert Hotel) and everything was on our doorstep; Bars, restaurant's, shops, museums, history, open spaces and so much more. Highly recommend SHREWSBURY and will be returning ourselves

It's a lovely town, lots of shops and lots of charity shops and nice pubs. Good food at the Old Post Office Hotel and very reasonable, excellent value for money.. We went when they turned on the Christmas lights.. 🎄 😳

Shrewsbury has a lot to offer: great wine bars and restaurants. There is also a good selection of independent shops. The walk around the river is well worth doing. There are also many historing buildings worth visiting, such as the abbey and the cathedral. I would give the museum and gallery a miss though.

Shrewsbury is very accessible on foot, much less so by car due to the nature of the town which can be very congested. Parking in the Frankwell car park is best, and free after 18.00. The river tours are worth doings - Sarbrina tours recommended. The museums, castle and galleries we visited were great. There is also lots to see and do within a short drive - Ironbridge, various National Trust, English Heritage etc. properties.

About 4 miles from Shrewsbury Town Centre its perfect if you have a car although there is public transport available. Located in an industrial park its quiet in the evening so great for a good nights rest. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Breakfast is buffet style and good quality. Room was clean bed comfy bathroom good. Overall a good hotel to explore the area but would best be enjoyed if you have your own transport because of its remote location.

I liked the attitude of the night porter who offered an early breakfast on BH Monday so I could catch an early train not on an empty stomach! The hotel had 2 rooms available at very short notice to enable my son and I to go to the Shrewsbury Folk Festival. The festival was definitely worth going to.

We loved staying at this historic hotel right in the centre of Shrewsbury. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our rooms and the breakfast room were looking lovely as renovations have been taking place. The cooked breakfast was very nice. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Located just on the edge of Shrewsbury town centre, it's a good distance from the river and restaurants with 2 parking spaces available and a corner shop next door. Mostly as described but angles towards an airbnb vibe more than a hotel or cottage stay.
