The house was immaculate. Lots of little things that made it homely. Tea and coffee etc Sponges and cleaning stuff to use as we went. Great space and easy to access. Beds had soft and hard pillows and bedding was not cheap. Mattresses were thick and cosy. You could tell a lot of love has been put into this property.

We know of shotley and the long drive down to reach the...

We know of shotley and the long drive down to reach the accommodation but our room was well worth the drive we loved being able to open the door onto the balcony and sit back and watch the world and sea go by. Well worth taking a bottle or two to sit back and unwind if you don’t want to use the bar but the bar and restaurant are both there and well worth a look

Room was great with super facilities.

Room was great with super facilities. Had balcony so could enjoy glass of wine with a river/sea view. Had dinner and breakfast in the pub, which were super. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Bear in mind it is very close to a working dock so there is some noise. Well worth trying to ignore for the relaxing break
