Sheringham is a lovely quiet seaside town not heaving with nighclubs or noisy bars. I really enjoyed walking along the Coastal path to Cromer and back via the beaches. There are Coastal buses via Sheringham to other destinations if needed. There are lots of interesting little shops to browse around. We have been to Sheringham several times, and intend to go again, because we really like it. It's easy to get to by train, is not too big, has a great atmosphere. The location was so convenient and quiet.
The location was so convenient and quiet. We visited the Animal Sanctuary , Cromer , Holt and Aylsham by bus . Also Fellbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall with long walks after the bus rides. Sheringham is a good old fashioned seaside resort.
Sheringham is a good old fashioned seaside resort. A great hub to access other locations locally. It has easyily accessible buses and trains, loads of chip shops, cake shops ice cream shops, cafes and pubs! The perfect holiday combo's. There's a steam traim that runs to Holt, rail trains running regularly as far as Norwich, buses to every resort on the north coast, loads of walking routes, cycling and kayaking too. Went for a day trip on the train but then decided to make it an overnight stay. It's a small quaint town with typical seaside attractions and eateries. The high street shops consist of charity, gift, antiques, vintage. Lovely to walk around on the coastal path admiring the victorian houses and picturing times gone by.
