Stayed in one of the self service apartments which was lovely. Great food in the restaurant and for breakfast too. Charging point for our electric car at 85p KW.

A very warm & friendly welcome!.. The Farmhouse was delightful, warm, clean & very cosy. Breakfast was deliciously made by Keith from all local ingredients.. and I must say.. my Cheese & Mushroom omelette was the best I have ever had the privilege of enjoying! A real treat to meet & greet the Farmhouse animals too! Parking was good too.

It was lovely and cosy and the view/location was wonderful lots of walks in the area. Also the brownies and jam left for us on arrival was a lovely touch. The enclosed area for the dogs was perfect too so we could sit and relax without worry of them getting out or up to mischief. It was also very quite in the evenings and night time making it very easy to relax and get away from life for a weekend.

It was so unique! Thoughtfully designed with lots of details that really made it special. Setting was fantastic, view of the lake and lambs in the field nearby. Fantastically equipped with basic supplies e.g. tea, coffee etc plus welcome gift of brownies! Shower and toilet block was very clean and again well stocked with toiletries - little extras that made a big difference.
