The location is excellent as the area is so pretty and many things are within walking distance. Lisa and Gos are so wonderfully welcoming, friends and exceptionally helpful. We left feeling more like family, and will definitely return. Breakfast was incredible, their home made oat cakes were wonderful, and the full English was plentiful and very tasty. They went above and beyond, with everything and even cooked my little old dog a sausage for breakfast. I highly recommend staying here.

The food was nothing short of phenomenal. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality of the ingredients and the creativity of the menu stood out. What amazed me most was the value—gourmet dining at a fraction of what you'd expect to pay at a high-end restaurant. A Hidden Gem Offering 5-Star Luxury Without the Price Tag I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic Boathouse hotel and dining in its on-site restaurant, and I can honestly say it exceeded all expectations. Rooms: The rooms are absolutely stunning—modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, with luxurious touches throughout. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom felt like a private spa, and the attention to detail was top-notch. It truly felt like a 5-star experience from the moment I walked in.

To Long stay it should have been zero.

To Long stay it should have been zero. The place is an health issue. You can smell the birds in the bedroom and the back garden is a chicken run. The two single bed room has no key lock on the door, the fridge and kettle are under the stairs. We both banged our heads four or five times. The bath room is 9 yards along the corridor pest the double bedroom. The small holding is the garden. Please give us our money back. I have taken photos for future evidence. J Kirk

Nice small village - quite busy with tourists as it is the centre for day boat and hire boat pick up. Two pubs, best one is a ten minute walk from the bridge and called the Falgate. Good location for trips North and South around the river network

This is a beautiful little place well worth exploring.

This is a beautiful little place well worth exploring. There's a pretty little bridge where the passing boats can be watched. Lathams discount shop is always worth a visit (nice little restaurant inside too). Lots of lovely little villages locally with small boutiques well worth supporting. Only a short run to Cromer and Yarmouth too, so best of both worlds.
