The most gorgeous house in a gorgeous town. I loved everything about it.The house is very well equipped. You can easily be self sufficient although there are many possibilities to dine out as well. I would love to come back, stay longer, explore the surroundings and have an ice cream every day.😁

The room is lovely, clean, comfy and spacious. It has a beautiful bay view. Could see the coast from Portknockie to Cullen town. Wonderful walking path from the hotel through the bridge to the town. Then we walked back on the beach.

Loads of great walks the views along the coast were spectacular to say the least. Well worth a visit, lots of fishing villages within a 20 mile radius all were fantastic and interesting history. If you are a golfer loads of golf courses to visit.. l ate in the hotel good food, there is only one other restaurant in Portsoy unfortunately it was closed on Monday and Tuesday so cannot comment. , but a Chinese takeaway and a fish and chip shop. The old harbour is fantastic and there is a pub overlooking the harbour.

A delightful small town on the Moray Firth coast with historic harbour and famous as a film set for Peaky Blinders and Whisky Galore. Easy to walk around the narrow roads to explore the town. Wonderful cliff walks from the town and a very tranquil and beautiful park in the centre. All the basics can be bought in the coop, bakers, and fabulous ice-cream shop. Chinese and fish and chip takeaways, lovely cafes and station hotel serve good food and the charming Port Cafe is a real treat. It's only a short drive to several other charming fishing villages nearby along the coast.

Portsoy is a lovely place, and well worth a visit. The hotel is centrally located, with cafes nearby and Portsoy icecream which is delicious. The last series of “Peeky Blinders” was filmed at the harbour. Recommend a trip here.

Lovely harbour. Worth visiting the ice cream parlour.

Lovely harbour. Worth visiting the ice cream parlour. Beaches in the area are fabulous particularly Cullen and the cliff edge walk to the bow fiddle rock at Portknockie. Durnhouse is the place to eat. Non residents are welcome and the food is wonderful.

Portsoy has a beautiful harbour that is easy to walk around.

Portsoy has a beautiful harbour that is easy to walk around. It can be accessed by car and has parking and toilets, also a pub. You can walk up on to the headland and look out to sea, beautiful views. If you park in the actual town and walk down to the harbour it is a relatively steep hill.

The location was great and myself and partner were blown away by the space and all the little details put into making this a very welcome stay. Everything was clean with plenty of towels, toiletries, cleaning products, fridge had some welcome gifts a long with a decanter of whisky…. I could go on as there are many positives. If you are going to Portsoy this is the place to stay… we will be coming back and thank you both from us!!!!!!

The hotel is currently poorly managed. There are a lack of staff and the breakfasts are very poor with little on offer if you didn't want anything cooked. One day the breakfast staff just didn't turn up and the housekeeper who did her best was drafted in to help. The hotel is very clean and comfortable but it has a bit of a feeling of a ghost hotel.

Great location so close to shops , cafe and hotel. Delightful cottage with comfortable beds, good shower and bathroom facilities. Room to park the car right at the door. Kitchen well equipped for 2 or 3 people, with 4 we would have had to argue over wine glasses! Nice sunny sittiootery.
