Portballintrae is a quiet beautiful village and is only 5 minutes by car to Portrush. The village hall is an excellent place to start walking the Causeway Coastal trail that runs all the way to Ballycastle. Runkerry Beach is very tranquil and lovely to walk on at any time of year. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within a short drive as well as loads of tourist attractions such as Bushmills distillery and The Giants Causeway.

Excellent base for exploring this part of the coast, close to Causeway, Bushmills, Portrush and easy drive to Derry. Only downside was there is only one place to eat, Bayview hotel; that was good. If you don't want to self-cater and drive in the evening, Portballintrae is not the best location.

Beautiful historic area with no shortage of excellent places to visit and experience. Close to some magnificent walks inc Runkerry strand with a lot of excellent places to eat . The view from the dining room at the golf club is unbeatable and the food was great. Also the Market Square restaurant was worth a visit as was the Bushmills Inn Hotel . The restaurant at the Whitehouse in Portrush was very good for lunch. Everything in Portballintrae is within easy walking distance.

Portballintrae is a small but beautiful village with amazing views and a very friendly community. It is a perfect base for exploring the Antrim coastline, there is a beautiful walk through the beach or boardwalk which takes yo u the whole way to the Giant's Causeway or into Bushmills if you wish. The village is a very short drive from Portrush and Portstewart, the local hotel serves top quality food with a view to match. There was a pod of Dolphins when we were there which was just incredible to see. I would recommend a stay here if you are looking to get away for a relaxing weekend with beautiful scenery all around.

I loved the view from this lovely apartment. Amenities like dvds, books, games, etc. were all there. Hotel restaurant next door and shop on round at the harbour. We had a fabulous time enjoying the water and relaxed on the benches overlooking the gorgeous sea. The beds were comfy and there was extra bedding and pillows etc if needed. I would definitely recommend and stay again. A*****👌

A lovely house on the outskirts of Portballintrae. House kept well and has a lovely view from the sitting area and has everything you could possibly need. The host provided excellent communication and was very generous in helping us out with some car problems.

The location and the views are amazing. Perfect for walking and next door to the hotel for good food. Having a range of games/books/puzzles is a nice touch for all ages. Host very responsive and dealt with any queries immediately.
