The Halvard Hotel is by far the best on the Isle of Man, very friendly and helpful staff, best breakfast on the island, perfectly located, great view of the sea, complimentary mini bar, etc.

Stylish and clean hotel with a view of Douglas Bay and 3 min walk to public transport. They have the nicest English breakfast I have ever tasted. Tasty kippers plus cold fruits and cereals are fabulous. We loved the bar and restaurant too. Extremely friendly and helpful staff including the owner's family. Big thank you to you all. We'll be back!

Rooms very relaxing well organised friendly staff and great swimming pool rooms are very spacious and cleaned to a high standard stayed here for 2 nights food excellent and nothing was too much trouble at any point.

Very good location overlooking Douglas Bay. Being out of tourist season, it was nice and quiet. The breakfast was complimentary, and there is a nice room with a view outside onto the bay. It was great as a solo traveler like me. If I return to the Isle of Man, I would stay again.
