Amazing staff and the owners! We were checked in by 2 nice girls tending the bar and felt really welcomed. The next day, a lovely chat with the owners over home tasting breakfast. Centrally located, The Bull Hotel is within walking distance of the village’s main shops and attractions. The Cowper and Newton museum is opposite . Boutiques, fashion and bookstore are among the many tea and coffee shops. The hotel staff couldn’t be friendlier and the portions in the restaurant generous. The food is excellent . Despite this being a pub , the rooms are very quiet they are cosy and clean.

The room was spacious(admittedly we had the 'king' suite)and the bed exceptionally comfortable. It was great to have windows that opened wide as we visited during the recent heat wave and had experienced stuffy rooms elsewhere... a good fan was provided for extra chilling if needed. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious and the whole family enjoyed the evening meal when they came to eat with us. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This wonderful little quiet find, wasn't just value for money, it was a real treat away on a work night! Staff were efficient, happy and thoughtful. The food in the restaurant was amazing, and the choice of wines and beers were plentiful. I had reservations as it just seemed to cheap - but it was verging on boutique hotel. The owners have really done a wonderful job of decorating and furnishing. I wish them well in making this place a shared secret so more can enjoy this fab place. They even have a function room for parties!! Loads of easy street parking!!

Olney has that lovely 'market town' feel to it.

Olney has that lovely 'market town' feel to it. A very long High Street with ample parking either side of the road and also plenty of car parks dotted around too. I was only there for an afternoon but would have enjoyed staying loner.

We had a lovely warm welcome and all staff were lovely & friendly. We were shown to our room by a lovely lady not sure if she was the owner or general manager but she was very attentive. We stayed at number 12 the stables and we were really impressed with the cleanliness of the room the bathroom especially. Really comfy beds and pillows which was a bonus. We stayed after being at silverstone for the F1 on the Sunday so we arrived later in the evening and they had stopped serving dinner which was fine as there were a chip shop open opposite and the hotel was kind enough to supply us with some plates and cutlery so we could eat in our room. The breakfast was delicious and good quality cooked fresh to order. We found the hotel great value for money, we will definitely be back. Thanks for a lovely stay even though it was short

Olney is a lovely old town / village , with lots of lovely...

Olney is a lovely old town / village , with lots of lovely old buildings to look at , charming people who have all the time in the world to talk to you, lovely places to eat , drink , independent to shop at , lots of traditions like the Olney pan cake ran and lots of quiet spaces to reflect on life . An ideal place to get away the hustle and bustle and maybe take up drawing and painting if that’s your thing ?

Olney has a village feel about it in every respect.

Olney has a village feel about it in every respect. Nice friendly people and plenty of varied places to eat and drink. Only downside is the traffic, which is busy and continuous on the"A" Road that forms the main street.

Just a lovely small market village with a few very nice pubs...

Just a lovely small market village with a few very nice pubs and restaurants, lovely courtyards and coffee shops and a handful of local artisan shops for browsing. Just lovely for a two day break - not much to do but perfect if you just want some peace and chill in a relaxed & sleepy environment.

Spacious, location spot on for a Wedding we had at the Olney Centre and Bull Hotel literally 5 min walk, very clean room and facilities, lovely view from balcony, all needs catered for here, Tracey was so kind and approachable. Everything was great. This place exceeded my expectations. Just what we needed.

What a great find, we went to a classic car show down the road and stayed here for two nights it was a great stay! The owner was very friendly, the room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel

Olney is a small market town, clean and well kept. The house is set back from the main road, and is incredibly quiet, considering how close we were to all the amenities. The cottage is old, quirky and has a lovely log burner.
