A quick response from Gary. The property was warm. It was good that there was tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk and a box of Maltesers when we arrived. There was also a beer each although we didn’t drink it. The beds were very comfortable. Everything worked. I would book it again.

Location was very good, with grocery shops and pizzeria round the corner 😋 the accommodation is very cosy and well looked after. Comfortable beds and quiet. Liked it very much.

The cottage has been renovated to an extremely high standard in keeping with the age and past history of the building. The hosts were extremely thoughtful and helpful. The bedroom was lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable. There were great facilities. There is a washing machine, microwave, hob, and oven, amongst other things. Parking for one car is right outside the door. The cottage was very cosy while a storm blew outside. A little home from home, this is the perfect setting for a couple to explore this area. We will definitely return.

Belated review we stayed earlier in Autumn; wonderful cottage, extremely comfortable, with great attention to detail. Excellent parking. Great location in the lovely village of Millthrop just down the road from Sedbergh, with walks from door.

Plenty of walking up various hills, lots of bookshops to...

Plenty of walking up various hills, lots of bookshops to browse, had the chance to watch Lancashire cricket match on the school cricket field while we were there. Several pub options all serving good food, we mostly went to the Red Lion but tried them all ☺️
