    Didn’t have anything interesting in the town itself it was quite run down.. which was disappointing.. but over all it hasn’t put us off as a family to visit again in the near future to have another holiday at port haverigg marina village..

    Lovely rspb nature reserve Hodbarrow and beach area, Haverigg. Very photogenic. Town has a few good shops and a new Norman Nicholson house exhibition opening soon, if you're a fan of the renowned poet

    It was quite a way from the town( and through some of the old industrial estate), but dont be put off as the view from the house, a stone throw from the Duddon estuary and the backdrop of the mountains was just superb.

    Not easy to find anywhere to eat in Millom on Monday or Tuesday. The Tiny Little Cafe near Tesco's was amazing value with simple but tasty food. Dotties Fish & Chips were excellent when we couldn't find any bars or restaurants open/serving food in the evenings. People helpful. Lovely coastal walks & wildlife.

    Not much in Millom itself but plenty to see and do in the...

    Not much in Millom itself but plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Narrow gauge railway at Ravenglass is stunning, we also visited wastwater , and Ulverston which is a lovely little town. We ate at the ski bar on the site and the harbour hotel port haverigg, both were nice but slightly more choice and better service in the harbour hotel.

    One of the most beautiful and unique place in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 lake view and sea view at the same spot. Hundred times better than Windermere. We spent quality family time in peaceful environment. Kids liked it as well as my daughter said she can live there forever ❤️

    A bright, modern property with a fabulous garden on the edge of a nature reserve, offering everything one could need for a relaxing stay in this quiet, undiscovered corner of Cumbria. It's in a great position to explore the Western Lake District or Cumbrian coastline with its stunning beaches. Well worth a visit! Thank you, Emma and Darren for a wonderful short break!

    Beautiful Caravan, very well kept, lovely and clean with everything we needed! Set in a beautiful location with beautiful views and lots of nice walking around the area! The dog loved it! We chose to stay there specifically as it was close to the Cumbrian Heavy Horse centre that I had booked. We also really enjoyed the steam train from Ravenglass.

    Large and spacious for our family of four. Very quiet location with lots to do nearby including Scafel Pike. We parked in front of the cottage the whole time we were there It wasn't far to the shops, Millom was about 6 minutes drive away.
