Genuinley one of the nicest properties I have stayed at. Beautiful converted building which has been decorated to the highest (and cosiest) of standards. The location is perfect for Snowdon and set amongst the most beautiful countryside. The owner could not be more accommodating. Easiest 5 star review I could imagine writing.

Lovely little place, our 2nd stay with sylvia and frank. 1st stay back in February in bluebell cottage , fabulous ! So we thought we would give the Nook a try. Pristinely clean, very comfortable furniture and bed. Great shower , very well equipped kitchen if you wanted to make a meal . A great outdoor area with a BBQ if you wanted to use it. A lovely little Nook in North Wales. Lot of places to visit within a short drive, right on the edge of Snowdonia national Park. Lovely walking nearby. Llanrwst is a 10 minute drive away with plenty of places to eat for all budgets. Lots of takeaways to choose from too. we can highly recommend them all. From the Kebab House to the fish and chips. All delicious. I know that we have found a little Gem in Sylvia and Frank's place and can safely say that we will return Helen and Graham

Llanrwst is fairly typical for a Wales town/village before you get into the heart of Snowdonia. Good links into all directions. The bridge of quarrels is amazing, but you need to be able to drive backwards if you have to as it's only one lane and you can't see a car coming from the opposite direction easily. Lovely walk along the river or over a suspension bridge towards Trefriw for a visit to the Woolen Mill there. Also Gwydir Castle is worth a visit, full of peacocks and nicely restored. The New Inn Pub is nice for real ale etc.

Llanrwst was bigger that I imagined with all the facilities...

Llanrwst was bigger that I imagined with all the facilities of of a small town. It was on the edge of most places but would recommend a car. Beware of Llanberis! Go into the town and not the Railway car park if you want refreshments. The railway car park is expensive and refreshement basic/limited. Check on the months as the train does not always go to the top of Snowdon. Ffestiniog rail was fun. Recommend you book but not much there when arrive and the turn round time is short. Barmouth has a lovely beach. Llandudno is a lovely town and nice beach.

Llanrwst is a beautiful town not too far from the coast but lovely for walks. We had lunch at The Tannery and could not recommend it highly enough, brilliant staff and lovely food at very reasonable prices. We went into an amazing wine shop Blas Ar Fwyd where the staff were helpful and knowledgeable and happy to chat. Make sure you take a walk down by the river as it is amazing.

Absolutely stunning location, very quiet considering it’s just off a road. Beautiful outlook, especially from the hot tub! It’s one of the best equipped houses I’ve ever stayed in, we had everything we needed. Beautifully decorated to a very good standard with comfortable beds and good quality linen and towels. 100% would recommend!! A short, flat walk into Llanrwst as well!

Excellent cuisine, very dog friendly and the manager very welcoming and friendly The hotel is a splendid Old manor house. We had the large twin with very comfy beds. The bathroom however has not be updated at all. We paid extra for dinner. Nice location and gardenwhich needs a bit more tlc. Would stay there again if in the area.
