We’ve stayed here before, it’s a lovely property in an ideal location, surrounded by Snowdonia National Park and close to Barmouth etc. The inclusive breakfast was fantastic, they use great produce and there’s plenty on offer. Room 310 was brilliant for our group of 6, there was plenty of room and storage, and the modern bathroom was as one would expect. Great property at a very competitive price!

An amazing hotel! From the huge windows, you get a breathtaking view of the mountain – simply magical. The room is very cozy, decorated in an interesting style, with all the amenities and lots of treats. It’s very quiet and peaceful, a perfect place to relax. The hosts love animals, and on the floor, we were greeted by a huge ginger cat – the true master of the hotel 😊. The design is outstanding. This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and I’ll definitely come back!"

Exceptional and very special place to stay. A luxurious room, decorated in a style totally in keeping with the historic property but with modern amenities. A very comfortable bed, plenty of hot water and a good breakfast served in the room. But the best things were the amazing, dramatic view of the mountains (weather permitting!) and the warm welcome from the owners. We wished we could stay longer and will be back!

This property is a hidden Gem, absolute bargain for money- so clean & tidy. It was such a treat waking up to the stunning view of Cadair Idris, listening to the birds. The bed was so comfortable, was really handy having the power port, picnic table & bench. We checked in really late as we got carried away in Barmouth but the hosts were super helpful & friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here & will be back
