Exactly what we were looking for, an old village pub near Stirling with a few rooms upstairs, a refreshing break from generic “chain” hotels. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and this made for a great experience. Breakfast was freshly made for us each morning, and was delicious. We had dinner there the first night and it was so good we ate there the following nights of our stay as well.

I visited with my partner and our 2yo, we had a wonderful time and the location was absolutely stunning, with gorgeous views and peaceful surroundings. The farm in which the pods are on has Goats, Ducks, Pigs and peacocks which my son loved going to visit throughout our stay. There was also cows grazing in the field right outside the pod. It was quiet when we stayed with only one other family in the pod next door but even if it was fully booked, it would be a peaceful and quiet stay. The pod is well set out, comfortable and provides everything you need.

The rooms are decorated by a professional interior designer, amazing and still very cosy. The bathrooms are deluxe. And the decor around the whole property is wow. The bar/ restaurant was fab - great food and drinks. More like a big, cosy dinning room. And the people are wonderful.

    Friendly locals pub with 3 double rooms making it quiet and ideal for travellers with pets. Excellent food available for evening meal in restaurant. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely staying here again to break up long drives to the Scottish Highlands.

    Pretty little village with lovely surrounding countryside.

    Pretty little village with lovely surrounding countryside. Two pubs, Cross Keys and the Kippen Inn. Both really nice, open fires, good food and friendly staff. Nice tearoom with great home made soup and home baking, good selections of wines and some cards and gifts. Village store.

    Love this quiet village.

    Love this quiet village. There is a butcher and a Mace local store and hairdresser. It’s affluent, leafy and bustles with life. Very traditional and set in glorious countryside. Near to several landmarks for days out and then a return to one of the welcoming Inns What could be better

    Very welcoming at the Inn in Kippen with Superb food

    Very welcoming at the Inn in Kippen with Superb food Exceptional service Very comfortable and reasonably priced. Kippen is a small village some 30 minutes from Glasgow Very quiet and easy to move around. Parking on the main street is easily accessible and free. A good location to explore the surrounding area - The Trossachs, Loch Katrine with Boat trips and Loch Lomond and many more.
