The food was stunning, highly recommend dining in. Our room was beautifully decorated and so comfortable. They also have the cutest cows! Will definitely be back on our next visit to Scotland!

Room was very spacious and clean.

As the accommodation was at the top of the building we had...
As the accommodation was at the top of the building we had to climb about 30 steps to get to it. I tried to explain that to the check in lady that my wife has troubles climbing stairs and she was very dismissive and blamed Booking.com as they allocate the rooms.

The studio was comfy with wonderful views of the loch. Not modern, but all the creature comforts were accommodated which made it a great place to relax. A beautiful hotel with bar and restaurant is close by and the food is great quality.

Make sure you allow time to explore the surrounding area en route - beautiful part of Scotland.
The pool was lovely and walks around the lake provided amazing photo opportunities.
The menu at dinner was varied and everything we ate was delicious.
Breakfast was also very good and the outdoor seating in the sun was ideal as a spot to enjoy a cool beer.
Can’t wait to return - thank you for a lovely stay.

Was extremely excited about the stay here as a treat for myself and my new fiancé. The hotel is very picturesque on the outside and as you enter. We stayed in the loft suite as a proper treat due to the bath tub and that was definitely the highlight of the stay. The room was good but there were some details that took us out of the ‘5 star’ rating that the hotel raves about. Stained carpets, stains around the bathtub and in the bathroom, some cobwebs and just other small attention to details that could’ve really made it better. The wee nook in the room was very cute but really unsure what to even use this for. Very difficult to get in and out of so would be good for this to be noted when booking and there were cobwebs up in there that you can easily see due to it just being a white lit space. Staff were friendly but would not recommend eating here. Breakfast and dinner both very disappointing and extra charges for cooked breakfast which were hidden and not advised until you got there. They also asked for a security deposit of £100 which was fine but again should have been told prior to this as it was a surprise to me and sounds like an ongoing issue for others too.

Have beem coming to Rannoch for many years and it never fails to delight. We were lucky and saw it at it's best - autumn leaves were still on the trees and the colours were fabulous. The sun shone for the two days we were there and the views of the snow capped mountains and their reflection in the calm waters of the loch were breathtaking. However there is a different beauty when the weather is less favourable.

The hotel is very nice, everything is well set out and easy to navigate the hotel, rooms were well fitted out and looked very newish furniture and fittings, toilet was very modern and nice, there was also a fridge in the room, bed was very comfortable, only disappointment was he restaurant was closed, breakfast was available and a good selection of continental and traditional cooked breakfast, would highly recommend the du Alastair hotel excellent value for money, we will be back ❤️

The whole hotel was well laid out and very clean. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable. The restaurant had a limited menu as the hotel is currently in a transition between owners; but the food, both breakfast and dinner, was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
