The best airport hotel I have ever stayed in. Not 5 mins walk from the terminal, friendly staff, lovely clean quiet room with comfy beds and linen, breakfast fine and appreciated the veggie sausages. This was one of our favourite hotels on our trip. Very luxurious after staying in regular hotels. The room was perfect, huge bathtub, comfortable bed, beautiful grounds for walking. Loved it. We expected the fine dining room to be expensive but it was quite reasonable.

they kept my luggage until it was time to check in, offered cup of coffee in their restaurant until such time, restaurant at the hotel is public to the community, popular, food was good, there are only 6 rooms, quaint, plaid carpets, there is a public room for rent; there was a memorial the day I was there, (there COULD be parties so double check before booking) arranged for a taxi pick up to the airport, very helpful staff

Johnstone or Paisley are perfect for train travellers wanting to explore Scotland. Direct Routes to the Ayr, Ardrossan, Largs which get you over to the islands on the west coast and Balloch for Loch Lomond. 15mins from Glasgow by train. Great Cycling routes to Lochwinnoch passing Kenmure Temple. Other places by car I'd really recommend a visit to: Culzean Castle, Hill House, Willow Tea Rooms Tour, Dumbarton Castle, Mugdock Park, Portencross Castle, Conic Hill, Ben A'an, Paisley Abbey, Glasgow Cathedral and the Necropolis. The River Inn at Crosslee has fabulous food.

This was a last minute stay after being let down by another hotel. The staff were very welcoming and extremely friendly - it was a very nice hotel and close enough to get to the airport early in the morning.

A stunning blend of old and new, this hotel was just perfect! Beautiful modern decor and amenities in the rooms, beautiful old building with strained glass windows and historical photos on the walls which gives this hotel character. Excellent service by friendly and professional staff. Delicious food in the restaurant. Relax in the stunning landscaped gardens in this hidden gem in Scotland. We will be back soon.

The old building itself and decor is very beautiful, although the pictures here on Booking.com cleverly hide the more modern section of the building linking the two old houses together. There is ample car parking to the rear of the hotel. and the hotel is clean. Debbie, the receptionist in the evening was very welcoming.
