I was walking the coast path. The Portreath Arms is so welcoming and very dog friendly. Bowls, biscuits and bed for the dog. Lovely clean room. Great food, and so helpful in the morning sending me off with something to eat and drink when I had to leave before breakfast started. Thank you.

Great accommodating friendly staff., who said they’d keep the kitchen open if we were late as been working. We had a refurbished room, not big but ok for a couple, which was very nice with super comfy bed, nice decor and a good power shower. Breakfast was good too. Ample parking

Overall a great experience. Very friendly staff and helpful. Tom, the owner works so hard to make sure everything done well. A lovely relaxed, homely feeling around the place. Not trying to be posh, just friendly. The breakfast was great - sausages the best. We ate there two evenings - beautiful food and generous portions.

I was so delighted to be able to host three guests with light meals and tea that I prepared in the kitchen for afternoon chat during my stay. The house was exceptionally clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the stylish design gave me a luxury feeling. The public transport connection was very good between Truro and Redruth. They run a small grocery store downstairs, so you can cook healthy meals at home.

Had an amazing few days away. Everything was clean, comfortable and just how we would expect it to be and more. It has a private garden (much bigger than expected!) which was so lovely as the weather was so good- we spent most of our time outside. We used the gas BBQ both nights, and then spent the evenings in the hot tub- with lovely views of the sunset. Very romantic location, perfect few days.

    Great location for visiting beaches on the north and south coast and just staying and chilling. lots of good takeaways and shops nearby, worth a revisit as a based to see west cornwall from. Portreath a lovely beach and free parking with a little walk, toilets, handy pub and shops and cafes.

    Great location to jump on the A30 to explore Cornwall.

    Great location to jump on the A30 to explore Cornwall. Good local pub, Robartes Arms for food, beer and friendly locals. We joined in the pub quiz and came 2nd! Illogan was a 10 minute walk from Tehidy so good exercise and no worries abour parking or who's driving and not drinking. Bonus!
