Stayed here with mum and sister whilst walking Offas Dyke, and it was absolutely perfect. Bit of a walk off the trail however it was the closest option! Sheila and her partner were incredible hosts, so accommodating and thoughtful. They have a fridge next to the rooms for fresh milk and water. The evening meal was exceptional - better than your standard pub fare and the breakfast menu was really good. The room was very comfortable and they upgraded us to have more space. Loved it!

Lovely, warm welcome, the kind of which is rarely seen nowadays. Fabulous rooms - spacious, very comfortable, plenty of local, complimentary bits and pieces: shortbread, apple juice, crisps, etc. spotlessly clean! Excellent breakfast with plenty of options for allergy sufferers. Overall, excellent value and we are looking forward to our next visit!

We didn’t have breakfast, ate in the restaurant twice and food was lovely. We stayed there especially to go to Violette Szabo museum so position couldn’t have been better, the grounds were nice and lovely views.

Very clean and comfortable house. All the essentials were provided for you (salt, sugar, tea. coffee, toiletries, etc), especially good for us as we were flying into the UK and so had limilted space. The host was very quick to reply to our numerous questions which helped a lot.
