The Old Posthouse B&B is located in the small village of Normandy by Spital. There are other charming villages nearby that are worth visiting. I was passing through and only spent one night at the Old Posthouse, but I could have easily spent more. I have traveled a lot but I can say that the Old Posthouse is one of the best places to stay that I have ever stayed. The rooms are clean and quiet. The house has a beautiful little garden where you can spend time. The Old Posthouse also has its own parking. The breakfast is excellent. I received thorough instructions well before check-in. However, the best thing about the Old Posthouse is the hosts: they are very friendly and helpful. I also got some good advice from them: Europe's largest antiques center in a former RAF base and The Crown Inn, a pub in nearby Glentham, where you can get excellent food. I would rate the Old Posthouse B&B an 11 if possible.

The question: would you like one or two of our fresh from the farm eggs with your breakfast? (I should have said two). The local pub. Hugh, tell them I walked out with a smile on my face. Nice peaceful location Great room and spacious Woke up feeling refreshed and ready for the day ahead. Host is warm and friendly Home is really lovely and has all the facilities. I would certainly stay again when in the area.

Able to come and go as needed and separate entrance to the pub. Although some mouse can be heard from pub this is not loud or a problem. Lovely views from bedroom of fields. Have option of facilities for meals and a lovely cooked. Breakfast .

Very helpful and informative and so friendly - then we were also left to our own devices, which was great Great space for kids and lots of toys to play with and they called before arrival and checked on the age of the toddler, so went ahead and put a stair gate at the bottom! Couldnt fault them - thank you

We really enjoyed our weekend here, it was very quiet and...

We really enjoyed our weekend here, it was very quiet and relaxing. The lodge was well equipped and the seating was verycomfortable. It had everything we needed. We did find the bed a little firm for our liking( but he cannot please everyone) , The breakfast items that Brian left in our lodge was a lovely suprise and very much appreciated. The owner Brian is a lovely man, very hospitable and helpful. We certainly want to visit here again.

We were received by very welcoming and friendly staff who could not do enough for us, the chef even sorted out some sandwiches for us even though we hadn't requested any food. The breakfast and the food was of a very high standard and was delicious. All in all a very pleasant stay, I would thoroughly recommend visiting.
