We stayed at the hotel before our cruise and it was the perfect way to start our vacation. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We loved how charming and trendy the hotel decor was, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

It was exactly what I needed after a heavy day: warm room, hot shower, comfy bed, and a glass of tasty beer in the bar. I liked the thick carpet making the room and stairs quieter. Great having tea and coffee in the room, too.

The hotel has a perfect location for passengers departing on a cruise from Southampton [5 minute walk across the park]. The hotel was clean and had great staff. Two blocks away is a small co-op grocery store that has a decent selection for a snack, breakfast or bottle of wine. Walking to the train or coach station is easy and about 20 minutes pulling a roller bag.
