A gem of a place with excellent facilities and extremely helpful staff. The cosy bar had the advantage of a real fire. There was a spacious dining room for more formal meals. The food in both the bar and restaurant was superb. Very good breakfasts. Although the room was above the carpark it was very soundproof and the view across to distant fields was beautiful. Everything about The Huntsman was to a high standard. It was well placed for walks and access to places of interest. Can't wait to return there.

Beautiful hotel on the Severn. Only 10 rooms. Friendly staff. Nice room (with a lot of things we not needed, for example a wardrobe). Good diner and breakfast. A big plus for us where the lying chairs at the river, perfect.

The location was superb, next to a lovely park on the board of the river, an easy stroll into Ironbridge. The hotel was great but probably the best thing about it was the staff and the service, that alone would make you want to return. We were there for a wedding, staying 2 nights, and couldn't recommend it highly enough.
