Lovely location. Only 2 minutes walk to a train station and museum which was also on a walking off road route to the Glenfinnan viaduct to see the Jacobite steam train crossing. Glenfinnan monument and Loch Spiel (Black Lake in the Harry Potter series). Also the film location of Dumbledore’s resting place is only 15 drive away over to the next loch. So this is an ideal location for Harry Potter fans. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the evening meal was lovely too. Room facilities were excellent with its own coffee making machine.

The location is just a dream. Waking up to have a cup of coffee in front of Loch shiel is just amazing. Walking distance from the Glenfinnan Viaduct. Parking in visitors center gets impossible so you can walk there. 10 min max. Also walking distance from Glenfinnan train station where you can have a lovely breakfast and wait for the Harry Potter (the jacobite) train arrival, and also visit the museum in the same station.

It’s a truly cosy cabin located beautifully. There was some midges, but not to bad. We hadn’t fully realised the bedsize and found the bed a bit on the small side for 2 adults, but that’s just us. Great to Wall around the Viaduct and it is really a piece of history to go see the Glenfinnan monument. Fort William is also lovely to visit. All in all a great place to stay!

The location is perfect, right next to the beautiful Loch Shiel. Very quiet place. Great starting point for day trips to Ben Nevis, Fort William or even Isle of Skye. And you don’t have to bother about parking to see the Glenfinnan viaduct and the Jacobite train

Luxurious, though expensive hotel, stylish furnishings, friendly staff, inspiring location, beautiful surroundings, the hotel makes the guest feel like the owner of a castle, expecting the queen's visit to go hunting together...
