There’s not much in Glazebrook itself, but the Black Swan is ideal for food and overnight stays. Places worth visiting nearby include the Irlam station bar and café which includes a vast collection of railway and local industry relics, going over Warburton Bridge quickly into the Cheshire countryside, or within half an hour getting into central Manchester. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Parking area was very spacious and well lit. We had two relatives also staying and one of them had reduced mobility and they got a ground floor room close to the car park which made their stay very easy and comfortable. Anna at reception is a huge asset to the hotel as are the other staff members. They also have a great entertainment program on offer on selected dates but not during our stay.
