Flore is a quiet little village just outside Northampton.

It's an English village or small town in a nice part of the countryside that does exactly what you expect. It just happens to be about 10 miles away from Silverstone too. While I was there I did a little green-laning and exploring and also dropped my motorbike on a gravel slope. In the middle of nowhere at dusk a couple appeared in a pick-up truck and not only helped me pick up the bike but insisted on waiting with me for sometime as I had a problem (caused by a bit of gravel stopping the side-stand going fully up it turned out). The effort they went to to help me out, phoning friends who had motorbikes and anything that they could to help left me a bit humbled and reminded me that there's actually quite a nice world out there. The cabin was clean and comfortable with modern accessories (tv, bed, heater, AC, kettle, fridge, shower, sofa). Free on-site parking. Had a fenced in garden for our dogs. Swimming pool (although we didn’t have time to use it). The owners/staff were very friendly. The Cabin is much better than a hotel and cheaper. Breakfast was simple with healthy choices of cereal. You could also order a nice hot breakfast which Patricia makes with your dietary references . Overall a very pleasant stay indeed.
