The most dog friendly accommodation we have stayed in owners are dog owners themselves and are really in tune as to what guests with dogs want They allow the dogs to be like thay are at home so if they go on the sofas or bed which is a big one by the way then that's fine They provide throws to go on the bed Garden is dogs friendly as well and secure Kitchen is well equipped and good parking area If your looking in this area this is the place for you

Lovely cosy cottage in the heart of robin hood’s village. The property was extremely clean and the host was very friendly and responsive. This was perfect for a stay over the Christmas break. The flat is very cosy but has everything you could possibly need. A nice combination between traditional and modern furniture as well.

The location is superb with lots around you to explore. The host, Andy, was extremely helpful and came to the property after we had checked in to explain how the heating etc worked and how friendly the neighbours were. The cottage is laid out perfectly and although we did not have children with us, the bedroom on the second floor was well equipped and spacious for at least 3 kids or even adults. The car parking is not on the property but in one of two local public car parks just a few minutes walk from the property. There is a parking permit available at the property that allows 24 hour parking so this is good. You can load and unload your car outside the property on the street as there is 1 hour parking through the day and you can park there between 6pm and 8am as well. Great little cottage, well appointed and great host.

Very homely, the room had lots of extras like blanket and heater but also a ceiling fan. The double bed was cosy. I appreciated the kitchenette which had plenty of supplies, there was a range of drinks, even filter coffee & fresh milk in a little fridge, which I was also able to use for my own food. The bathroom was very clean and in fact everything was super clean and the bathroom had recently had a stand up shower fitted and various complimentary items. It was nice that I didn’t have to share the bathroom . I am definitely booking again for a longer trip.

    Booked room with single beds.

Booked room with single beds. On arrival found separate rooms with a single bed in each. One room only had window from en-suite. It appears to be a family room as next door is a four foot bed for adults and thus the two singles are for kids. All very clean and tidy albeit no drawer space except that next to bed and dearth of hangers. Breakfast very good with variety.

Lively village, with a variety of small shops, bars, restaurants and coffee shops. 5 minute walk to the centre. Sherwood Pines 100 metres down the road, lovely for walking, shopping, a coffee and to eat and several activities going on. Easy to find details on the Sherwood Pines website.. Foot pavements good to both the village and Pines. Just lovely also to sit outside or inside at the hotel and read a book.

Great little cottage just outside the centre of Edwinstowe, but within 5 minutes walking distance of pubs, COOP and local shops. Good position to walk into town and then up and into Sherwood Forest, which was only another 5 minutes walk away. We had some great pub meals in the Forest Lodge and the Great Oak. The Forest Lodge is a lovely pub with excellent staff and landlady - felt very welcomed.

Staying at Edwinstowe Hall was such a lovely experience, each room was well made up, the entire property was immaculately presented. I was welcomed by Rachael, the host, who was lovely herself, happy to offer advice for the local area and gave a tour of the property, prior to my group arriving. Our booking couldn't have asked for more from this property or host. Very pleased with our experience.
