My wife and I stayed in Old Town for the first 4 days of our trip because our objective was to take in as much of the Fringe as possible. It worked well being in the center of activity. Edinburgh is a wonderful city, it combines the Middle Ages and modern architecture. There are many interesting monuments, buildings, structures. And there is a whole history behind all of this. The transport interchange is also very convenient. There are many buses in different directions, but at the same time they do not interfere with enjoying the city, as, for example, in the center of Dublin. It is also very convenient - from the airport through the whole city and the center to the other end, directly to the sea and the royal yacht "Britannia" there is one tram. In one short visit (3 days) you cannot see everything in Edinburgh, you cannot enjoy it. Therefore, plan your time :)Guest review byOksanaUkraine
