The setting is stunning. During the day you stare out at the Loch watching boats and the occasional hint of sea life popping up. At night the lights of Lochinver terrible in the distance while deer and other wildlife wander around the trees (bring a torch if you want to see them). The trees either side keep you fairly private from the other properties around about and to feel like you're in your own little private cabin away from the world. On the porch you have a water jet hot tub facing the view, a log burning chiminea (with 2 easy light fire logs provided) and a Ninja Woodfire for cooking which works as a grill, air fryer, dehydrater and smoker. The porch is fully covered by the perspex roof means you can still look to the stars and get the sun during the day. We sat outside watching the fire burn, listening to sounds of nature around us for hours. So peaceful, and excellent at this time of year with the longer nights. With the fire burning and the hot tub running the porch remains pretty warm, but you'll probably want to grab some firewood as the log burns for a maximum of 1.5 hours and isn't hugely warm on its own. You can purchase more from the owners or the shops in Lochinver sell kindling and larger logs. I can't stress how lovely the setting is considering how close you are to other peripheries when you take a walk around. You'd honestly never know when you're in there. Inside the pod there's everything you need. An electric fire/heater, comfy big double bed, TV with netflix etc, wet room shower and bathroom, air fryer, kettle and various cutlery and cookware. Power outlets have usb ports for easy charging of your devices and there's a small table and stools if you want to eat inside. I won't lie, we spent minimal time inside. We slept, showered and got changed, but the setting just encourages you to sit outside.

💙🤍💙1000% Recommend the beautiful Sea View Cabin Jo and Jon so kind, genuine, friendly, welcoming, informative, always a smile!! You feel welcome from the moment you make first contact on messages, and even moreso on arrival. They are noninvasive, so if you dont even want to see the hosts, you dont have to. TOTALLY respect your privacy. They are nearby if needed but far enough away you dont see their home  out the view windows and feel safe and so much peace.The location is outstanding. Unique. The amount of details covered to make your stay comfortable and worry free is top of the line! They give super directions to find them, and suggestions for the area. We only wish we had had a longer stay. We will definitely be back. Comfortable bed and couch, great view!!,  tastey accommodating treats in the cabin on arrival, a binderbook that explains everything inside and out, bonus animal interactions if you want! and beautiful surroundings. It makes or breaks a stay on how u are greeted and welcomed. We wanted for nothing.  These people made us feel like we were coming home glad to see us again, not first time stayers like we were. Great private parking area by cabin, lots of exrtas they really thought of everything. You really feel well looked after and at peace there, and that they care about what they are doing and want the best for you while there.🤍 Nice people. We went as a couple; spacious and sparkeling clean looks all new to be honest. Like we were the 1st ever there , but the guest book you can sign proves otherwise. We cant say enough about them and the area! I would go alone or as a couple again....THANK YOU SO MUCH for offering joy and kindness , it flowed naturally from you 2. Cant wait to come back for a longer stay than 1 night. You really made the stay special.

The apartment is well equipped and quite comfortable. The jacuzzi was an added bonus. The owner provided excellent information prior to arriving at the site. Everything we could have probably had questions about were provided ahead of time. In actuality, the pod was much more luxurious than we expected and we greatly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect if you are visiting the west coast of Scotland.

The parking signs mentioned by other reviewers were a bit...

The parking signs mentioned by other reviewers were a bit alarming but we followed Anne’s instructions to ignore them and everything was fine, even though the neighbours (who obviously put the signs there) were home for our entire stay. People with mobility issues might find the stairs to the bedroom difficult along with the very low sofas, but we found them very comfortable and absolutely fine.

The room was great with fabulous views of the sea and mountains very well equipped. The welcome was warm and the breakfasts are special as well. Getting there is so interesting, the scenery and the road is cool! Definitely a place to return to.

Fantastic location, with excellent walks nearby.

Fantastic location, with excellent walks nearby. It was a 30 min trip to any restaurant (the local hotel was only serving residents - Covid) but we had been warned and the drive was lovely in either direction. We ate at the Kylesku Hotel and Peets restaurant in Lochinver, both excellent.
