spacious seperate studio/annexe beautifully equipped and only 10 minutes off the M1. a nice pub for evening meal a very short walk away in a gorgeous village called Newnham. nice breakfast supplied. Hugh was very welcoming.

Place was amazing. Wonderful location, although given there was no address provided other than the Clocktower we were a bit worried if we could locate the place. As it was the GPS took us straight to the address of 'Lower Catesby' and the Clocktower. The temporary BNB sitters were wonderful and informative and we met the owners the next day. They too were also wonderful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing; the room was huge and wonderfully appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay and moreso. To top it off it snowed and the surroundings looked like something out of a Christmas post card. The sitting room and glass covered patio were also available for guests to use, so it was just a wonderful place to visit and stay.

    I'm staying and working close to Daventry, (in chipping warden), so cant really comment properly, but what i will say is from where i have been that the Tesco superstore was 8 mins from the hotel i was staying at which i super convenient when coming back from work as it basically on the way back.

    The only disappointment though nothing to reflect on Staverton Hotel and Golf club the local taxi firm very unreliable Many guests booked through this company also disappointed bad time keeping Booked Friday evening for a taxi on Saturday late morning didn’t arrive another couple booked with same company (during Saturday morning)attending same wedding venue their taxi 15 minutes late hence we travelled together The taxi firm lacks organisation pre booking a taxi is a waste of time

    The hotel is in aa lovely location good golf course swimming pool and gym looked really good but didn't use breakfast was really good but hotel is let down by shabbiness feel walking to the room but overall we had arally good stay.

    Having a couple of quiet days away we decided to visit the country park - what a little gem! \Lovely scenery with several well signed walks with descriptive panels all around. The walkways to the waters edge were a nice touch. Didn't have children with us but the play areas were full of interest and little touches made them a cut above the average. Will definitely visit again - with or without children. The only downside - the refreshments were rather expensive so would bring a picnic and own drinks !!

    We booked this hotel as it was close to a wedding venue we were attending,it was great as it accommodated friend's and family,we were able to meet and eat in the grill bar,some of the party also made use of the swimming pool..Greg's was local and handy for some of the party.

    I was there for work.

    I was there for work. If you like mixing in with village locals, then there are good places to stay in Daventry, but there really isn't much to see or do in Daventry. I would recommend the Wheatsheaf in Weedon for what i would call a proper old fashioned pub - welcoming staff, friendly locals and good cold beer and decent home cooked food.

    Quite a nice stop when the need arose, my only two gripes were, the room where we slept was next to the entrance an the outside porch light was on all night and the curtains weren't quite dark enough or wide enough to block out the brightness from the light. Secondly I found the breakfasts a little bland, the ingredients just felt a little "cheap" but other than those two picks, a nice one night stop.

    We had a lovely two day stay for a Wedding near by. Arrived Friday, Spa was lovely, clean and quiet. Dinner was lovely with a great view. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice in the morning, room was clean comfortable and most of all quiet. I have to say I travel alot around the country staying in hotels, but the staff at this hotel were really friendly and helpful.

    Amazingly clean hotel- both outside and inside, our room was impeccable, the carpet was vacuumed very well. The staff was very friendly, the lady on reception and the people in the restaurant area were great and nice!
