The room, the opening windows, the use of natural materials and local slate, the delicious breakfast and most of all the welcome and care for us on a day they were normally closed. It was the Queen’s funeral and we watched it in comfort provided with coffee and sandwiches.

Everything was absolutely perfect. All the staff was brilliant, the food was great, we just loved the hotel. We asked to change our room for the quiet one, and the manager gave us probably the best room in the hotel.

What a wonderful place to stay!!! A warm welcome from the moment we arrived. Fabulous location, excellent team of people, delicious food, the rooms were excellent with amazing views of the water, comfortably warm on a very very cold day.
