The front of house staff (Julien and Ffion) were very friendly and incredibly helpful. The rooms had all been refurnished a couple of years ago and the room I stayed in was excellent. I ate in the Inn on the Saturday night and had breakfast on the Sunday morning. Both were top quality. The starters and main meals in the restaurant had recommended wines on the menu, which was a nice touch. I had the smoked eel salad followed by the skate.

Asked for early check-in for a wedding & they were happy to obliged, staff were extremely friendly & welcoming. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy, shower / water pressure was amazing. Breakfast was all local & fresh, lovely staff & very attentive

We were greeted warmly by the receptionist who showed us around the area as well as our accommodation. He was friendly and helpful. The accommodation itself (we chose camping pods) was lovely, clean and ventilated. Two regular plug sockets were available, so you should bring an extension cord if there are more than 2 people staying. The facilities were clean, comprehensive and easy to access. The kitchen is complete with ovens, microwaves, utensils, electric stoves, and pots and pans. We were a bit shocked at how complete the setup was. The toilets and showers were clean and spacious. You can chill in the cozy lounge with board games, or go out into the open and start a campfire as you watch the night sky which was full of stars that night (and shooting stars)! I took the breakfast for £9.95 and it was good with the continental options available as well. What I must advise, however, is to know the bus schedule of T4 and T14B (I found google maps quite reliable for this) if you do not have a car. Also, please let them know the stop is Llwyn y Celyn, NOT libanus as we have made that mistake before and had to walk 20 minutes on the A470 back to YHA. Overall, it was a lovely stay with warm people (staff and customers alike), conveniently located with access to public transport, with good facilities and a view to remember. I would recommend this and will definitely return.

The location is amazing. Step outside and you have immediate access to the bridal way which takes you down to the wonderful Craig y Nos Country Park. You’re in the middle of waterfall country and there are a few waterfalls to explore all within 20 min from the cottage. Room is very comfortable. Basic, but has everything one would need for a short stay. There’s so much to do in the area. Karen was very helpful, friendly and was happy to help whenever needed.

Newly decorated, very tastefully. It was comfortable and warm ( it was snowing) and the staff and owners are very friendly. They do evening meals which are really high quality, as is the breakfast.
