Very comfortable room, nicely decorated and peaceful. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to check in a few hours early even though they had warned us that might not be possible. The breakfast was excellent.

The grounds of the hotel were immaculate and very well cared for. The reception staff were very friendly and polite and our room was as expected. The reception area had comfortable seating and allowed for drinks to be served from the bar. The breakfast was excellent with nothing missing except a selection of alternate teas (fruit) to avoid having to request this from staff.

Coddington is very remote, do don't expect too much in terms of activities but if you want a peaceful getaway then this place is perfect. The guest house had everything you could need but if you wanted to get out it was only a stones throw away from the Malvern Hills, which is a great place to go walking/hiking and seeing some lovely views.

No need to go out in the evening looking for restaurants, choose from big list of dishes and Bernie will cook to order and deliver at a time to suit. Coddington is a tiny village, need to go into Ledbury (15 minute drive) for shops etc.

Barton is where the accommodation was, Coddington is a small quaint village very near by with no amenities. Very short drive to holt where there is lovely places to have coffee and lunch. Fardon also nice small village and went to grosvenor arms in Alford about 10 mins drive which was lovely food and a super untouched village since 1860’s. Sat Nav useful as easy to get lost on the country roads. Visited the ice cream farm and marina in Tattenhall which was lovely.
