Everything....Chris, the Barman was great the first night, lots of laughs, then we met Albie at Breakfast, what a lovely fella, he served us a beautiful vegetarian breakfast...we had some laughs and he helped me with some advice with my luggage, (seriously helped me big time)... Then we met Deb, Albie's wife, what a lovely lady, also a quick meeting with Scott.... Such a lovely clean, cute and delightful room, the pub itself is Beautiful, the menu is amazing, especially for vegetarians....We had such a delightful stay, Highly recommend a stay here💕🇦🇺🇬🇧💕 love Trudy and Jean from Australia

A beautiful building set it a large, peaceful garden. It had a relaxed and homely feeling, helped by the warm, friendly attention that we received from the owner,Amanda. Lovely bedroom with wonderful views over the garden and surrounding countryside, and the breakfast was served in a room with garden view. My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely and will look forward to returning soon.

Charminster is a small village in Dorset.

Charminster is a small village in Dorset. The village has a characteristic Old English atmosphere and is full of charming historic cottages. We ate at the Sun Inn and at The Gamekeeper - both are excellent. As long as you have a car, it's easy to get around. For us the best activity in Charminster was walking.

Charminster is only a small village and the only facility is...

Charminster is only a small village and the only facility is the Sun Inn which was excellent for evening meals. The Inn is only a short distance from Little Court. Charminster is only a short distance from Dorchester which has a lot of facilities both attractions and places to eat. It was unfortunate that during our stay the road into Dorchester was closed due to roadworks and the diversion route was quite long.

It is a beautiful hotel in a quiet and ideal location for visiting the area, with friendly and very proffesional staff. The room was a great size with quality furnishings, both the room and bathroom were immaculate. Good choice for breakfast and the food was delicious. Will certainly stay again if l am in the area.

The hotel is a fantastic small Arts and Crafts hotel. It was authentic and cosy not a homogeneous chain. It had charm, the owner was attentive and the team were welcoming and just a lovely.
