I received a warm welcome on arrival and was shown the accommodation which was nicely decorated and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable with good quality bed linen. A very good shower in the bathroom. Everything was provided that you could possibly need (and in my case won’t need such as a hairdryer!). There were some nice finishing touches such as a small vase of fresh flowers on the bedside drawers. As my stay was over Easter it was nice to find a note wishing me a Happy Easter with a packet of mini eggs. The farm was easily accessible and the entrance was well lit when arriving back in the dark. I found my stay very peaceful and slept very well. The location is ideal for visiting a number of places such as Bath, Wells and Glastonbury. I would certainly recommend staying there and will book again whenever I next visit the area.

The weekend that we spent at Rook Lane House yielded one delightful surprise after another. Topping them all was the welcome received from a host with a fabulous feel for all that you could want to make a stay special and memorable. This found a lovely echo in the charm and grace of the house itself, and the fascination of the history that comes with it.
