Carmarthen itself I love, although there's been a lot of changes since I last came down 25 years ago(which is to be expected!). It's still an interesting town centre with a great variety of shops while still retaining a lot of its character and history through it's architecture and inhabitants. The Carmarthenshire countryside is stunning!

Handy for many of the more touristy places and probably cheaper! A very good selection of shops and eateries. If you are not used to narrow roads do NOT attempt going across country to places like Cardigan....B roads??? I don't think so 🤦🏼!!! Aberglasney.... unmissable, a must visit garden

A beautiful part of Wales.

A beautiful part of Wales. Stunning scenery looked at its best in the May sunshine. Visited Aberglasney which are well worth seeing. Give yourself time to wander around a beautiful restored garden with a great cafe. NT Dynfwr was a very different visit, less formal gardens and an interesting house with emphasis on the below stairs life in a country house.

The hotel was clean and well presented. All the staff I met were exceptionally friendly. My room was very large, well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast on both days was hot, tasty and well cooked. There were plenty of alternatives to a cooked breakfast. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The town centre location was very convenient for the railway station.

Very welcoming pepole. Beautiful home. A very homley feeling throughout. Bright rooms. Outstanding customer service!! Best place to stay in South Wales. We stayed to visit the bitonical gardens that's around 10 minutes away. Very understanding of us getting late to property without any additional fee. Car parked outside of property. We always have a good time when we visit Kaowood Country Park which is why we have booked again for next year. We also like Wales and use Kaowood as a base to visit local towns and villages
